I have a penchant for cardigans. Their ability to dress up a simple outfit instantly is enough to make me buy 3 cardis in a month. Here’s just one of them:
A rare FOTD shot. I used to adore mascara, or sometimes falsies even, but I find them rather heavy on my eyes so I do without them these days. I am using EDM mineral powder, MM blusher, Bourjois liquid eyeliner and silkygirl black & white eyeshadow in this photo. Only after using these drugstore brands do I realize that they are actually pretty long-lasting and value-for-money. 🙂
On a more sombre note, Singapore has just discovered its first case of H1N1 today. Not surprising at all, given that we have such an open economy and are welcoming to all visitors. What is worrying though, is how much longer do we have to wait before it becomes an epidemic? Although it is apparently less potent than what experts thought and the recovery rate is high if medical treatment is administered on a timely basis, I can’t deny that this is a worrying trend especially since I am expected to travel over the next 2 months!

im a cardi-lover too! used to buy cardis more often than proper clothing but the weather has been insufferably hot thesedays, so have somewhat neglected them. well now u have reminded me to get a another haha

Can share with me how you did you make up your eyeshadow? after eyeliner, you use black on the double eyelid? did you use white eyeshadow to highlight your lower inner line of your eyes? Thanks.

haha I didn’t know so many people were fans of cardis till I wrote this post! I generally prefer short-sleeved cardis or 3/4 sleeved cardis cos they’re not so warm :). Think the long sleeved ones are too warm for our climate!

MM refers to Majorlica Majorca 🙂 I’m using shade PK333 or something like that I think. Not at home so I can’t check right now. EDM is everydayminerals. They have a website, but it’s a US site so you’ll have to ship the products to Singapore.
I usually use white eyeshadow over my entire eyelid, then I’ll use black eyeshadow on the crease, followed by eyeliner. I use a white MAC powerpoint liner on the lower line.
