One of the best ways to unwind after a hectic work week is to take a walk in the park and feel the wind caress your face in the tranquil surroundings.
The long winding road up to the top of Mount Faber leads you to a lush garden inundated with endless rows of trees, shrubs and flowers.
Sometimes, we get so caught up chasing our goals in life that we lose sight of what is truly important and dear to us. While work is a critical aspect in our lives, spending time with our loved ones is also of paramount importance as these are the very people who give meaning to our lives.
Sometimes, taking a stroll in the park not only gives you time to stop and smell the flowers, it also helps to put your thoughts into perspective. A breath of fresh air does wonders to one’s body and mind, doesn’t it?
I’ll be away the next 2 weeks for work, so do pardon me if I don’t reply your comments in time. Meanwhile, do keep those comments coming as I’ll love to hear from you.
Have a great weekend!
Hi Regina
I loved the bougainvillea pic and the sentiments below it. It really does wonderful wonders to the body, mind and soul.
Take care while you are away.
Cheers
Cheryl
Hi Cheryl,
Thank you! I like that photo too..it was a lucky shot ;). I think it's important to take a break every now and then to rethink our objectives and ensure we're on the right path, or rather, a path of our choice. After all, life is so short 🙂
You take care too and have a great weekend ahead! I'm currently in London..it's 11pm and there's still work to be done 😛
