Lace, Florals and White herald the arrival of Spring/Summer, my favourite time of the year! This is also that time of the year when you can throw caution to the wind, let your creative juices flow and experiment with fashion.

1) Floral Prints

You can never run away from floral prints during this season, so put on a pretty floral frock and embrace Spring with open arms!

2) 70s Bohemian Flower Girl Look

On the runways this year, we also witness the comeback of 70s fashion with the boho chic look, complete with floral wreaths and dreamy flouncy skirts.

Here’s my take on the 70s bohemian flower girl look with ClubCouture’s mesh tiered skirt:

3) Bold Colours

Besides the ubiquitous floral and lace Spring/Summer trends, be sure to inject your wardrobe with splashes of bold colours seen on the runways this year. Colour blocking, which refers to the use of two or more bold colours in an outfit, is one of the hottest trends this Spring!

I’ve also purchased the brittany cardigan in hot pink from ClubCouture, which would be perfect for colour blocking.

I haven’t had the chance to wear it out yet but here’s a lovely red romper from ClubCouture (sorry girls, it’s already sold out!) that I wore recently. Instead of colour blocking, I decided to keep the look simple and complement it with chunky platform heels paired with socks.

Chunky platform heels paired with socks is another interesting Spring/Summer trend that adds a touch of quirkiness to any outfit.
